GLOVES OFF AS PRESIDENT AND HIS DEPUTY FACE OFF!

 "Moguyumeen sosurr yemoeen iyeep" or atleast that's what I heard of the golden Kalenjin adage,you cannot Shelter under a banana(*) during the rains and cut it down when it subside.

President Uhuru has been on a free rampant spree of castigating,scathing and scolding his Deputy President,simply because they had a difference of opinion concerning BBI. He has taken it do personal that he has resorted to rebuking his second in command in live television.

We might not have the raw details and chronology of event to what transpired between the two. They once rode in the high spirit of "bromance" complementing each other at every situation. They even matched their Shirts and ties. 

But we Sure as hell know all the public details they have been showing us. Over the Period of 2013-2017 ,the were this solid image of a strong government,run side by side almost the Nusu mkeka Nusu mkate ideal government of 2008.

Boy didn't the President even hand over the tools of power to William Ruto when he attended the Hague case? 

A great show of trust and co-joined leadership they had. All was rosy and sweet Almost as if William Ruto was the actual President!

Fast Forward to 2018,it slowly became apparent that their was no love lost between the Two. It followed a series of events Shortly after the handshake which begot the ill fated BBI Bill,that promised to Bring Peace ,unity and more resources to Kenyans albeit the many positions of leadership that came with it.

I remain speculative about what really brought the glaring division between  the Head of state and his second in command. It culminated in several demotions and removal of leaders from position for purportedly being Pro Ruto. From the National assembly to the senate and even parastatals. 

Not even those in the jubilee party positions were spared,they got a taste of the whip.

But whatever brought the rift, Deputy President should accorded  respect from the President and his Kieleweke Brigade. It is not a demand but just the basics of leadership aesthetics. Respect goes two way and the President cannot rough up the Dp and still expect things to be as usual. 

What is this blemish that is so soiled it warrants the outpouring hate and malice attack on the Deputy President?. Did he suddenly run out of good use after the 2017 elections? Psychology says people Rarely change their character. President UHURU Kenyatta should have risen the red alarm that he is so sheepshly trying to show now.

That we Kenyans should know people we should vote in? Looking at the mess he has created in this country,it is Ironic for him to make such utterance. He has been the epitome of the bad leadership that has been ailing this country,From disobeying court orders to making blatant attacks on the constitution that he swore to Protect. To the point he made a point of mutilating it! A moment of silence for the brave people who went to court to defend. 

Bravo to the judges for exuding wisdom and immense show of patriotism by standing firmly by the constitution and Wanjiku.

He should be remorseful and ready to give back all that he has cost this country through poor leadership.

Just like the Bromance of 2017, President UHURU should know that  he and his Deputy was elected on the same ticket. They are co-joined twins and only a general election can do them apart. The era of selling political fear is long gone.

William Ruto is the voice of millions of hustlers in Kenya and you cannot stop an idea who time has come,just the same way  NASA ,could not stop his time to be President too during the 2013 and 2017 general elections. He should let his Deputy seek the Presidency in peace of he does not support him. 

We are always talking of a free and fair election with a level playground,but the same people to care about stability are already making the ground an even.

Let democracy Blossom and everybody to be judge based on track record and their economic ambitions for this beautiful country Kenya.
