 I will put it plainly, Manchester United really bottled this finals versus Villarreal,just like Arsenal deed in the semis. It was evident throughout the match build up that Manchester was not razor sharp to win the match. Although the match was a battle to the end Manchester came short especially in the extra time halves.They seemed to ran out of gas. 

Thanks to the goal from Cavani but hardly can anyone pick a positive talking point from Manchester United display. Rashford probably played his worst game today as De Gea puts a hall mark of conceding penalties since 2016. It was not one of the best nights to remember for the shot-stopper  as not only did he fail to stop any balls from passing him but also gave away his penalty kick to the goalkeeper.Ole Gunner might not get away with this too,with Villarreal making 5 subs against one for Manchester people are bound to critic his ability to have control over his squad selection tactics.

It will be a night to beat for Manchester United and to the extend the fans who had high hopes that they will clinch the the cup to help salvage a rather disappointing unceremonious exit from The champions league competition.

Seems we all just like Arsenal wait for next season and see what manner falls for us again.

Loosing the penalty shoot In a near perfect 22 shootout is not something to overlook though,the lads gave theirs best but not the best they can give.
